"Haptics" is an album of ambient and experimental soundscapes crafted from guitars, a tenori-on and the occasional synth. All sounds were recorded onto cassette and manipulated using various techniques.

The album was conceived, and hopefully portrayed, as a journey through ones own consciousness whilst dreaming. Is lucid dreaming an identifiable, altered state of mind or is it simply our imagination and the scenario of dreaming within a dream.

"Haptics" is dedicated to the memory of Christopher Torrance. A close and very good friend who sadly passed away on the 30th of May 2011 at the age just 24. I miss you.

what an amazing tapestry of sonic storytelling in this incredible album. My favorite track is a story in and of itself and the use of field recordings all throughout this album makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the narratives presented here. very well done and highly recommended. 10/10.
